Reports from China news service denotes that the ministry of culture has warned few music websites which offer illegal music online. As per the ministry's notice around 14 internet music websites which also includes Baidu Mp3, has been unable to discard downloading and listening links of 100 illicit songs online. These music websites include songs from artists like Bruno Mars, Christina Aguilera, etc. which have not been filed and considered illegal.
The notice reveals that, the Music websites offering unapproved music downloads are causing serious disturbance in online music market and pose a major threat to the state's culture security.
The music websites are ordered to remove the downloading facilities of the 100 illegal songs; if any website fails to do so, then it liable for punishment. The online music websites can face fines up to $4,594 or a permanent cancellation online business permit.
